I am a published writer in my own country but I am now trying my luck to write something for the international market (a Romance for possibly Harlequin). I however also have day job. I have been working for the second largest trade union in the South African Public Service for the past 20 years as a negotiator. I however also write News Letters to our members and publish magazine articles in the union's Magazine. I am also responsible for the editing of all the other negotiators' News Letters. My husband, Eitel Bock who is also on Stage 32 is now also in the process of finalising his new website for his web design and photography business (www.webscripto.co.za) and I will be responsible for the content writing part of it. We will need all the support and encouragement we can get. Please wish us luck. Thank you for listening. Regards Kim.

We have a huge community in South Africa - I recommend hosting a meetup to take your networking offline and meet people in your area. Additionally, utilize the lounge, webinars and classes, and the Happy Writers to learn as much as you can about writing and the international market. Best of luck on your journey! :)
Hi Shannon, thank you for the warm welcome! I will definitely take your advice on board.
Hi Kim. I'm RB, Founder and CEO of Stage 32. As a screenwriter, producer, actor and filmmaker, I know first-hand the challenges all creatives face finding work, landing representation, launching projects, securing funding and simply making the connections that will make a difference in their careers. That's why I created Stage 32. Since our launch in September of 2011, the community has grown to 400,000+ members representing every country on the planet making Stage 32 the social network uniquely populated with the most creative people on Earth.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
RB
