A director, executive producer, writer, Vickie Adams began her film journey in 2014. Her first short film "Broken Warrior", based on men and women returning back from the war with PTSD. "Broken Warrior" was selected into the Los Angeles Film Awards and was nominated as Best Inspirational Film in the International Christian Film Festival 2018. Adams' next short film "Pure Justice" has been officially accepted thus far in 2018, into twenty one film festivals with several wins. "Pure Justice" won 2nd place for short film at Kingdomwood International Film Festival in Atlanta, GA. "Saving Billy" short film focused on mental illness and homelessness has also won several awards. Ms. Adams is continuing her journey as a filmmaker.
Adams' first documentary feature film "Mental Prison" (2018) was released in late May. "Mental Prison" won 1st Place Documentary at Kingdomwood International Film Festival in Atlanta, GA.
Adams first SAG Producer credit of "Redeemed" is currently in streaming on BET+, AppleTV and Amazon Prime. Redeemed is also available on DVD through Walmart online. She is also working on additional feature films that focuses on faith, love and forgiveness.
