Eric Ross Gilliatt is a highly successful American leading dramatic actor, director and producer, commercial and VO talent. With residences now in both the US and Eastern Europe he is currently very successfully working predominately in film projects in both continental locations for over 10 years. Previously, he had been directly involved with the dramatic and musical stage as a leading actor, director, and producer, plus working as talent for television and radio commercial productions for more than 30 years. He is a highly sought-after acting talent who has worked with some of the best directors in the best drama venues in Southern California and in films in both the US and Eastern Europe.
A starring actor from his very first stage role, his theatrical media reviews have always been top rated, and he has been a long-standing actor with very high media and patron respect and loyalty. He has been a friend of many of Hollywood’s major movie and musical superstars throughout his career.
As a student of the arts, Eric studied drama and communicating arts in Southern California. He is a Meisner Technique actor who studied for three years under the private tutoring of well-known San Diego Acting Coach, stage and television director/producer, Thomas Morton. His natural ability to completely immerse himself into character, adopt character speaking accents as needed, and his projection of enormous energy on stage won him many coveted roles as a leading male actor in even high-level local Broadway musical productions.

In 2011, he was contacted by a London casting agent and asked to join the cast for the independent feature length film; “Overturn – Awakening of the Warrior” as one of the main stars. Since completing “Overturn,” Eric has performed in a supporting role in the major bi-lingual international feature dramatic fiction movie, “The Bomb,” which starred the famous Russian actor, the late Andrea Panin. He has also had supporting roles and voice over work in several feature length docudrama TV movies, such as “The History of Criminalistics,” as well as the film festival award winning short films; “Must Escape,” “Fuel to the Fire”, in the multi - award winning French international digital STUDIO+ series, “Kill Skills.”
Recently, Eric had the male leading role in “Anna” a dramatic short film shot in Eastern Europe. The film premiered at Cannes 72 in competition for the Best Short Film Palm d’Or, then screened at TIFF and at Graumann’s Chinese Theater for AFI Fest, as well as over 200 other Film Festivals globally winning 39 Best Short Film Awards including the Best Short Film Award at BIFA, was short listed for BAFTA and Oscar qualified. In 2022 he was cast in the Hollywood independent dark thriller feature film, “Hide,” playing the ominous leading/starring role of Jekyll. It was shot on location in Hollywood and Los Angeles, wrapping in July and due to be released in early 2023.
