Hey, I'm currently working on a storyline involving two heroin addicts living on the Lower East Side, NYC during the early 80's before gentrification. The situations they find themselves in are taken from real life incidents that I witnessed or was part of during my time working in the area. This is not a crime story but a story about two individuals forming a friendship started at the end of a hypodermic needle. I am not a professional writer but enjoy doing it in my spare time. Anybody out there have helpful ideas I would appreciate a shout out...thx
