I own the business COMICS2MOVIES which has the number #1 selling independent comic book series in Australia I'm also the co-creator of a sci-fi series called Terralympus (on kickstarter now - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1917428739/terralympus-volume-12-an... ) and Talos of Sparta. I have also recently worked with Spartacus actor Dan Feuerriegel to create a dystopian cyberpunk series called Fractured Shards, and have some other major projects in the works as well.
My aim here is to connect with other creators, offer our services of turning your project into the comic/graphic novel medium and hopefully one day maybe have one of our own projects picked up to be turned into a live action/animation movie or TV series.
I look forward to connecting with you all!
Welcome Shaun!

And I'm going to agree with that 2nd paragraph - I didn't even read the first, went straight to the second, and thought, "DAMN! How could he say that to his own kid?!" It definitely catches your attention and makes you want to know more! Keep at it, Josh LeBlanc! Can't wait to read the next iteration!

Expand commentHi Josh
I’ve not done my profile yet but my background is I’ve just completed a post grad Master of Letters (Mlitt) and currently in the middle of my final creative writing dissertation. From 2014-2019 I studied part time and attained Dip HE Creative Writing. And I was a journalist before that for 10 years.
So. My point is that creative writing and journalism have a formula. You can be taught techniques that make your writing better. To be able to compete for publication deals etc you need to be able to write a draft, re read it, many times and tweak until you think it’s ok. Then put it away for a few days. The reread it and do more editing. It’s so important not to overwrite- meaning using 10 fancy words when 2 or 3 simple ones is all that’s needed. I write in UK English, but USA have their own English and spelling. A proper writer will make sure their spelling and grammar are crisp and correct.
Others will say write what you want. That’s fine for journaling and free-writing and forms of poetry but if you want to do this seriously and get published and leave a legacy then please take my advice. I’m now 55 and been writing bits n pieces since school days. But only when I completed my degree in Journalism then furthered with the Cert HE Dip HE and now the Mlitt did my mind awake to the real possibilities. Please come and join my Facebook lit and creative writing blog/site and enjoy all the things that people post. All free - no fees at all. It’s Writers Central. Sandra Walls Facebook. I’d be delighted to add you as a member once you ask to join. Cheers Josh.
This post was long. But so is editing a book. So if you got to the end well done. You’re on your way xx Good Luck with your writing future xx
