About Nicolet

I have been told by casting directors that I am the American version of Penelope Cruz. I am a young Latina actress, native English and Spanish speaker. I’ve had the opportunity to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Peoples Improv Theater (PIT), Penny Templeton Studio, and Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB).

I have also recently heard that I am similar to Karla Souza the Latina law student on ‘How To Get Away with Murder.” My J.D. from UCONN School of Law may come in handy when playing smart characters that require legal terminology or the troubled student. I also enjoy playing the vulnerable girlfriend, the strong yet sensitive sister, and the wise-beyond-her-years daughter.

I’ve been lucky enough to have played lead and supporting roles for indie films, played a supporting role on The Oxygen Network, been a spokesmodel for Snapple and recently I modeled for Almay Cosmetics.

One of my favorite quotes: “The world is a book, and those who don’t travel read only one page.” I got the traveling bug from my mom at a young age, and I’ve traveled to over 30 countries and lived in Barcelona! I love learning about different cultures, people and characters.

I’ve always loved to perform. Kristi Yamaguchi and Michelle Kwan sparked my love for skating as a child. As a result, I trained with international Olympic and World Figure skating coaches, and received my gold medal from the United States Figure Skating Association.

In 2015, I’m focused more than ever on expanding my work in TV and Film.
