About Matthew
Hi. I'm primarily a screenwriter these days, and often find myself chasing the holy trinity of dark, funny and humanistic.
I recently co-wrote a horror film called Friend Request, produced by Warner Bros. Germany. It stars Alycia Debnam-Carey from the new Walking Dead, and was produced by Quirin Berg (The Lives Of Others).
I'm also finishing up a screenplay for veteran Oscar-winning producer Arthur Cohn – a character-centered drama that takes place in Nazi-era Germany.
In the past I was a headline contributor at the Onion, and also produced (and occasionally directed) a few dozen web videos for them.
I'm currently looking for new screenwriting and script doctoring assignments.
I'm also looking for like-minded souls to make lower-budgeted projects together, including elevated B-movies.
