When senior gang member Victor García, caught in a blood debt, learns his recently deceased father left one hundred thousand dollars to an unknown sister living in the Dominican Republic while he and his brother were only left the family bodega, he goes to locate her and claim what he thinks is his before things get more violent. Along the way, Victor discovers his father’s musical legacy, which ultimately reshapes his whole family dynamic.
