Burnt is a film about a high rolling investment banker, Ryan Hinds that gets kidnapped and locked into an industrial furnace room. He is told to comply to a voice called the Keeper and when he doesn’t follow directions, he pays the consequences. Burnt is a film that will feature Eric Balfour (24, Haven, Six Feet Under) as the lead, Ryan Hinds. This film is produced by Scott Dolezal and directed by Giorgio Serafini. We are holding auditions on Thursday, September 3rd from 1-5pm for the following roles: John/Keeper Male, 40-50, Caucasian (no accent) Role Description the brother of the lead character, Ryan Hinds; he has secretly kidnapped his brother to extort money from him for all of the bad things his brother has done in life; he uses the furnace to burn his brother in order to get money and answers about his bad deeds; this role plays a dual personality in certain instances in the script. Anna Female, 30-35, Caucasian, Hispanic (no accent) Role Description the attractive wife of the lead character, Ryan Hinds; she is a housewife who is very much in love with her husband and has no idea about the dirty activities in which her husband engages until she is informed by Ryan's brother in an effort to get him to "pay" for his sins; she is hurt but still believes there is good in her husband. Bruce Male, 35-50, All Ethnicities Role Description no lines; character just makes an appearance on one day of shooting; a businessman and investment partner of Ryan Hinds. Cute Waitress Female, 21-25, All Ethnicities Role Description no lines; very attractive, great smile; she serves the lead character and a group of businessmen at the restaurant in one montage scene. Production dates for cast members are either September 24th or 25th from 8am-8pm. The roles are paid according to the ultra low budget SAG day player rate. The auditions are being held at Champion Entertainment Studios, 6011 Westline Drive, Houston, TX 77036. The film is being produced by Dolezal pictures and Champion Entertainment.
