About Eliza

I am a French actress. I live and work between Paris and London. I have been performing on stage and screen since I was eighteen.
I attended classical classes at Conservatory of XVI and several Actor Studio workshops in English.
During these years, I performed lead roles in classical plays on stage such as “Antigone” or “Le Jeu de l’Amour et du Hasard” from Marivaux and made a lot of impro. I also embodied strong characters in awarded movies (lead role of Angel, a blind woman, in “Love is Blind”) and appeared in some Tv shows (“Spiral” on BBC1 or “Chefs” on France 2). In the meantime, I never stopped dedicating myself to social artwork, creating workshops and plays in hospitals and jails. In 2014 I signed her first stage direction, “Claudia and me”, at the Theatre du Gymnase in Paris.
Bilingual in English, I also speak Italian and Spanish. I am an actor of challenges, who never doubt about performing myself my own stunts or to dive for weeks into an universe to raise a character to life. For example, I experimented blindness to play the young Angel, learnt the attitudes and the gestures of a conductor for her lead part in the movie « A Silence » and the background and skills of a nurse for the feature film « Patients » last year.
I love learning about so many different kinds of people ! I have a series coming out I the US called « The Beating heart Chronicles ». We shot it in London and I was thrilled to play for the first time a very horrible character : the evil head of a local gang.
I am about to shoot a feature film called « Dreamgirl » and the social commitment of this script, about a desperate woman, matters a lot to me.
I just ended performing the live show « Douze », in Bordeaux, which is about to be shawn all over France. In this show, presented in museums of modern art and Palaces, I perform the lead part and improvises with the audience around the theme of Intimacy. This performance aims to open people to themselves and to love.
My goals never changed : use my actor skills to embody committed characters, to lead the audience feeling emotions.
