He's now my drumstick sponsor - HornetsDrumsticks.com out of Portland, Oregon. So the idea has definitely been percolating for well over 2 decades. Back then, I knew I wasn't mature enough to write it - Well. Now, I'm working on a textbook for students who want to become engineers... in other words, what to expect out of life as an engineer.... since I was an adjunct professor of engineering last term.
