Hello! I am in the process of tweaking a screenplay. I have a question about the use of the Continuous slug. There are many scenes that are part of the same sequence, but they have a Flashback moment in it. Because both the Flashback and the return scenes are treated as separate scenes, is it appropriate to use continuous on the scene that is back in the present? Ex. Scene 1 Living Room - Day, Scene 2 Flashback, Scene 3 Living Room - Day or Continuous because it’s the same place as Scene 1, but clearly after the Flashback?

Hi! My name is Alexis Guthrie and being relative new to the Stage 32 community, I would like to make connections. First of all, I’m the Production Manager of an independent, non-union film in Minnesota. As we are currently in pre-production, I’m looking for people who can assist with financing & legal matters (so we can do things right). Second, I don’t have the opportunity to be in NY, CA or even Chicago, so I don’t know where or how to find the people that can help take our project off the ground (and be ethical in doing it)! Lastly, I would also like advice on how to run our small production office efficiently. I am trying to make sure we have all the paperwork ready and have done all the groundwork so when we get ready to move into production, it will be a smooth transition. Good morning, everyone! I'm a screenwriter and playwright living in Laramie, Wyoming. I have a lot of scripts in my background for both stage and screen, and I've acted in quite a few productions and directed several as well. I've seen my works performed in Denver, Seattle, New York City, and Albany (New York) and I've acted and directed in all those places as well. Currently I'm at work on a 2 screenplays, a collection of monologues inspired by an event at my 10 year high school reunion, and trying to write a short film for an upcoming state film festival. My name is Alexis Guthrie. I have a wide skill set when it comes to the entertainment industry. I have acted in many theater productions through my local schools, I performed in a 7-Up commercial, and I have also directed several small productions. I am an actress, singer, dancer, writer, and photographer. I have two Associates of Arts Degrees and a Bachelors Degree in Design Management with an emphasis in Photography. I am currently the Production Manager for an upcoming independent film that my friend wrote and is directing. We are looking forward to putting our cast and crew together for shooting next summer. It's been awhile since I've been in the industry, so I would like to be able to meet new people and connect with those who can assist in getting our film project off the ground and to the silver screen.
