Joshua Pabon

Hey, I'm Joshua Pabon, Writer - Actor - Filmmaker - I'm from Miami, FL. Graduate of Miami Beach Sr High and attended 2 yrs at MDC - Wolfson. I'm a proud, self-thought Screenwriter. I started my film journey as a background actor in 2012, gaining an appreciation for the industry. During the darkest period of my life, this vivid story idea blossomed in my head during a long shower and like a projector I could see the images of the story on each tile of the shower wall like a storyboard. At the time I didn't know what to do but I felt compelled to write the story freehand. I didn't know how to write scripts just yet, so I made my way to "The Last Bookstore on the block" and read every book they had on screenwriting and I created my very first short, entitle "Words In Every Step."

Struggling with mental health all my life ADHD, Anxiat, depression would send me down a lonely path at times, times I named my "Grey Spells." Then I found writing and it helped me understand how to use those "flaws" and turn them into a superpowers. I found through my writing I could take my over abundance of emotions and spread them around to different character and by doing so, it helped relieve some of those everyday pressures and through writing I found a way to express myself and hopefully one day my stories can be an escape for the next person.

Despite the challenges that come with making it big in Hollywood, I'm committed to this journey.
