Formerly a Hollywood-based product placement specialist with 15+ years of experience in the conception, planning, pitching, development, production and management of numerous promotional campaigns and alliances on behalf of the major film studios and the world’s largest corporations (including Microsoft, HP and Siemens), I have worked with the producer partners of Tom Cruise (Paula Wagner), Steven Spielberg (Bonnie Curtis), and Michael Bay (Ian Bryce). Currently evolving from a film marketer into a film-maker back in my native UK where I am reading for my Master's in Film. Of my first award-winning student short, ‘Drink?’, BBC programming chief, Sian Thomas, said: “This winning film had impact and style from the outset … It was targeted and hard-hitting.” More recently, after more than 50,000 online film viewings and screenings across the UK, the judging panel of the British Big Voice Festival (headed by Lord David Puttnam) awarded its 2012 Silver Prize to the first-cut of my most recent short, ‘Shine’.
