Dana Sullivan

With a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Marketing major from Wayne State University, I spent the early part of my career in the printing industry as a graphic artist/key liner, then as an account executive for a wide variety of projects.

My life-long passion has been involvement in the arts, particularly performing arts and theatre. I've worked on numerous productions as an actor, choreographer, director, costumer, and just about everything. As film in Michigan grew, I shifted my interests as an extension of my passions. I've written two feature screenplays with others in queue, and I am now working on the development of a TV Drama Series called "Edgewater" which is set in 1920's Detroit. I have the pilot episode and episode two completed/copyrighted and I have the vision for this series with season one outlined. I'm now working on support to get the pilot made.

These past few years, I've attended local workshops, podcasts and online educational sites and groups targeted towards screenwriters and film makers. My hands on experience was gained from several films, wearing many hats. My first experience, I was hired as the assistant to the Line Producer for the film "Master Class," starring Faye Dunaway, filmed in the Detroit area, but never completed. The last film I worked on was "Margarine Wars," starring Doris Roberts, where I was credited as the Catering Manager/Craft Services. I decided to work on my own projects as I have gravitated towards the creative development end of the business and of course, writing.
