Producing and directing films is an art that I take joy and passion in. I love coming up with the idea and organizing the picture to get it ready for production. I also love seeing my idea through the production process and directing the scene to my vision. Hard work, teamwork, and passion are what bring my films together for the screen. My art is different from other forms of art because I use a series of pictures and sound to bring ideas life.
I was inspired to do films since I was a child. Growing up, my mother always had black and white films playing on the television. Still today, I am fascinated by the look and style of black and white films. I respect the art that laid the foundation of the golden years of Hollywood. I am a big admirer of black and white films, and hope to bring them back into style someday in the near future.
“Ideas come from everything” -Alfred Hitchcock
I find inspiration in everything in life, a mood I’m feeling, something a friend says, or just something I see or hear. I like to go to the airport overlook where I sit to relax and let my imagination fly away from reality. It helps me find inspiration. Seeing the planes takeoff, I think about where I can take a story and how I can raise the stakes. If ideas arise, a film can be created.
