Remember that rule "you never know", turns out it's true. Music group VNV Nation gave me professional advice regarding the entertainment business, and was open to keeping in touch and answering inquiries when and if they can. Ironically I have loved this band since I was a kid and always dreamed of...

Genetic memory

What if the memories of our ancestors were transmitted to us genetically, yet locked away in our brains? What if a way was discovered to unlock them, allowing us to travel back in time and meet them, any of them? Would we discover the answers to ancient mysteries and lost truths, or would we dredge...

Crikey, Kenneth - that is such a cool concept that I'm gonna read that script.

Sam Mann

That concept reminds me of the Assassins Creed Franchise. Pretty cool idea though! I'll take a look at the script!

Robert Parry

Hello there. I am aspiring screenwriter, lover of life, dogs and depressing music. Looking to connect with creative types to help build a network, hone my skills and someday work in film.

Sam Mann

Hey, I see you're a fellow Blade Runner fan too. Nice to connect with you.

Robert Parry

What kind of things do you write, what kind of movies do you make, although as a Blade Runner fan and with a company name like Neuronet, Im guessing you lean towards cerebral SiFi.

Sam Mann

I focus on thriller and sci-fi types, yes. I am planning to build a company that's geared to produce those genres in the future. Thanks!

Software troubles

Hey guys, I hope I posted this in the right place. I'm hoping someone can clear up a bit of trouble I've been having with my screen writing software(s). First, let me break down the software I'm using and my OS. (Cause otherwise this might get a bit confusing.) I'm using Windows 7. Celtx (most used)...

I agree with Anthony and that's why I asked. If you're going to write strictly for the Japanese market and your actors and crew don't speak English then yes, you'll need to resolve this issue, but if...

Let's get back to the basics

Does anyone agree with the notion that a group of filmmakers creating weekly content with the prospect of a zero dollar budget is now absolutely possible?

Amen Peter Fleming. Amen.

Sorry to detour this thread further with my above comment about ethical behavior. It's sadly lacking in this industry.

Ruby Zandra Waller

Thank you Sam. I appreciate you. And feel free to message me as well. I am generally mad busy, but I do enjoy the occasional interruption, especially from fellow creatives.

Beverly Hills Film Festival

Just found out that for the 6th consecutive year, the Beverly Hills Film Festival chose one of my screenplays, An Undocumented Rumor, as an official selection (in 2014 Olivia’s Oath won 1st Runner Up). So come early April I'll be heading to LA for the fest. Anyone attending? Let's make plans to meet up and talk shop, have fun and meet deal makers.

Philip Sedgwick

Thanks guys. Looking forward to it. Great fest.

Paul McGann post panel chat 2

My interview with Paul McGann (the 8th Doctor) at Phoenix Fan Fest 2014 The reason why these were done in parts, is because I cut off the camera briefly. His handlers at the convention were trying to get me to wrap it up, so I immediately cut but Paul requested more time with me. Anyway, I had a lot of fun doing this, and meeting Paul was such an encouraging experience. I hope this brief chat might be of help to some people as it was for me.

Paul McGann post panel chat 1

My interview with Paul McGann (the 8th Doctor) at Phoenix Fan Fest 2014 When I initially requested this, I had done so with the intent of a 30 sec quick vlog/message for a friend of mine as a surprise Christmas gift. However, when I sat down with him, I realized he was expecting to have a conversation. All of this I improved having never spoken to a celebrity much less attempted anything like this. Also when I went to try and clean up the lighting, I think some other things got a bit wonky (making it shakier and weird for some reason) If anyone can tell me how to fix this, I still have the original footage. Comments and feedback are always welcome. Hope you all enjoy!
