About Daniel

I studied 'Digital Film and Television Production' at JMC Academy in Sydney before writing/ producing an award winning community TV comedy show which aired 4 seasons (49 episodes) on community access.

While comedy is my preferred, and strongest, genre, I’ve co-written horror/ thriller features that have both placed in multiple competitions, a crime drama feature on spec, and have worked as a script editor on a number of project, including features and TV pilots, web series and short films in the action, drama, family, comedy and horror genres.

I have been hired to rewrite feature screenplays and television pilots on assignment, including treatments and series bibles, so can work from existing concepts, outlines or drafts. I enjoycollaborating with other screenwriters and filmmakers, helping to develop projects.

Currently working on a children's book, alongside the author and creator, writing sketches and comedy scenes for an acting ensemble, and have a short horror film in pre production.

Available for freelance work, writing assignments or script editing jobs, I'm always looking for collaborators, opportunities and a new project. Genre specific short samples of my work are available upon request.
