Among the short films that Desmond Denton has written, produced and directed are Fatherland, Infidel, Land Of Fear, Scarytown, Circle Of Fate and Adoption. The documentaries and TV shows he has directed are Turning Point TV Series: William Austen, Paul Steyn, Melissa Hertz. He has written and directed the following feature films: Anderkant die Stilte, Springflower, Between Ashes and Hope, Spelonk. He has produced and directed commercials for Dos Equis, Unilever, Ford, Lux.

Among the awards that Desmond Denton has collected over the years are Best Produced Feature Film at Monaco International Film Festival, Best Actress at Monaco International Film Festival, Best Director at Apollo International Film Festival, Best International Feature at ICFF, Best Action Screenplay at Angel Film Festival, Audience Selected Best Film at 48 hours Film Festival, Best VFX at 48 hours Film Festival, Best Festure Film at ACFF, as well as numerous official selections at international film festivals.

Desmond Denton graduated from AFDA Film University and holds Post Graduate degrees in Communication Science and Psychology from UNISA. Desmond was chosen for Master programs Berlinale Talents, Big Fish Producers, NFVF Writing Course, Mofilm Commercial Director. He has worked with celebrities Brandon Auret, Jamie Oliver, Greg Kriek, Desmond Tutu, Stephanie Barren and Crystal Roberts and was mentored by Sarah Blecher, Bruce Macdonald, Kofi Zwana, Dean Blumberg, Cobus van den Berg, Akin Omotoso.
