About Cori

Multimedia Designer Cori Redstone grew up in Salt Lake City and working a farm and ranch in rural Southwest Colorado. She established her art practice in Utah before relocating to LA in 2013. She is a recent graduate of the masters program at CalArts and runs her own multimedia design business. Redstone is an expert in the semiotic aesthetics and social organization. Most recently she authored a chapter for a college sociology textbook about the aesthetics of protest.

Redstone’s art work has shown in galleries and museums across the country as well as appearing in films and music videos. Her photographs and writings have appeared in numerous publications and she has contributed to several documentaries about science and the climate justice movement. She has worked as a videographer, set designer and documentary producer. Her interest in economics and sustainability practices began as a young child while working a farm and ranch in Southwest Colorado where she collected ancient pottery shards that were unearthed by the plows each spring. Her childhood curiosity about what happened to the Anasazi evolved into a passionate devotion to justice and sustainability.

She lives and works in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles.

Unique traits: I'm a classically trained fine artist in painting and sculpting with a passion for combining technology with traditional fine art materials. I recently started my own company with an industrial designer and we work on a variety of projects. Because of our different backgrounds our projects are more dynamic.
