Journalist, Film Critic, Writer and Director, Marco Spagnoli (Naples, 1970) is steadily working in the entertainment and media industry since he was 20. He’s the Deputy Director and Head of Doc & Factual Division at Mia Market Italy and he collaborates to several film and Tv events across the country.
He wrote several podcasts: Interno Giorno (Amazon Audible) about Italian Cinema; Volare! (Rai Radio3) about the incredibile history of Italian Space Exploration; ‘Sophia Loren - Voice of a Diva’ about the greatest Italian actress.
As a Documentary director he has been nominated three times to Italian Academy Award and won two Silver Ribbons with his documentaries on cinema history and on Franco Battiato - La Voce del Padrone.
Many of his works were awarded in International Festivals.
Spagnoli is the editor of Il giornale dello Spettacolo, the most respected trade magazine in Italy.
He teaches “documentary” at the Writing Master, Luiss Business School, Rome.

He's a member of International film critics association (FIPRESCI); Italian Film Academy David di Donatello; European Film Academy; Spagnoli is a voter for Golden Globe.
