I just entered my newest screenplay THE ROOFIE into the "Annual Stage 32 Happy Writers Comedy Contest" in the Early Bird Submission Deadline/ Order
# 1307066994033435433. My last produced project was a comedy about lesbian nuns at a Catholic girls' school entitled "SISTER JOSEPH'S MEMORIAL GYMNASIUM." It played at The Magic Theatre in San Francisco. My original title for "SISTER JOSEPH..." was "CHRIST'S WHITE BRIDES." The director, John Lion, said it was too much of a tongue twister. Since then I have written about five screenplays, and submitted them to various competitions, but mostly to SCREENWRITERS ONLINE. I have a M.F.A. from the University of Iowa's Playwriting Program, and a secondary school teaching credential. I also have published some poetry as well. I would love to network with other screenwriters about their scripts, comedies or otherwise.
