Tameka Citchen-Spruce is a film producer and writer. She has produced one short film, Seeded for the 48 hr film project. The movie received an “Official Selection” award at the Trinity Film Festival is Detroit, MI. She is producing another short film, A Walk to Remember set to premier in 2016. Also, she's producing a documentary, My Girl Story. Mrs. Spruce has worked on over seven films within 5 years. Besides film, she has worked in theater as an actress and playwright. Her writing credits includes a one act play, 24 hours to Live and short film A Walk to Remember. In addition, she has worked on broadcast TV for CW50, TV 33 and OUTV. In 2010 she received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Oakland University. She was Ms. Wheelchair MI 2006 and started a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization for women with disabilities.
