I currently reside in the North Georgia Mountains with my supportive husband, beautiful daughter, a dog that thinks she’s human, a cat who thinks she’s a dog, and an overworked coffeemaker.
I began my writing journal several years ago in high school when I started a romance manuscript on a whim. I started as a journalism major in college, but life took me in a another direction. My manuscript collected dust while I earned my MBA and I’ve spent the last 20 years in the finance management field.
A few years back, a health scare made me realize just how much I missed writing and that the passion never died. Bolstered by encouragement from fellow writing friends and readers, I joined an online writing community, where I am a story editor and analyst, and work with an extraordinarily talented group of women.
I’m a member of the Romance Writers of America, Georgia Romance Writers, and the Georgia Writers Association. In addition to writing romance, I also write short stories and other fiction under the name Kaleigh Peake.
Unique traits: I'm an analytical creative. I've been trained to think with both sides of my brain.
