Through the eyes of an older Romulo, Salvador Dali’s model, and his wife Gala's boy-toy, we experience a year of the iconic couple's complex greatness, both in their surreal private life and public persona. This is an original screenplay based on inexhaustible research and intimate interviews.

The Persistence of Memory is a morality play in that the main character looks back at one year in his young adult life and acknowledges the traps he fell into, lured by fame, genius, and perversion. The question we are left with is, was it all worth it? Begonya is now in the process of completing the novel.
