Los Angeles Barea studied at the famed Cristina Rota School of Theatre in Spain. Discovered by Director Pedro Almodovar, Angeles made her debut acting in his Academy Award winning film Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown which received an Oscar for Best Foreign Film. Angeles went on to work with acclaimed directors such as Jess Franco and Alex de la Iglesia.
Los Angeles became a well known personality making countless television appearances. She went on to host programs on MTV, National Television, Canal Plus, and Tele-Madrid.
Record company EMI - Chrisalys signed her to a recording contract. She released four critically acclaimed albums with her band Orgasmical. Los Angeles was responsible for lead vocals, music composition and lyrics. Her views on pop-culture were published in articles for national magazines and newspapers.
In Los Angeles, California she directed a short film that she wrote called Buy Me A New Life. Encouraged by the success of that film, Angeles wrote and directed her first feature film “The Paper Boat” which is produced by her production company SinAmor Films.
The Paper Boat Drama A brother and sister struggle with his health, an actress tries to stop prostitution, and an immigrant looks for a future as his girlfriend slips into insanity. A tragic accident brings them all together and reveals how they are connected.
