Demetri Portelli

Demetri has been an IATSE camera technican and operator since 1996. He is an award winning 3D Stereographer and 3D Supervisor for Hugo, Gemini Man, 47 Ronin, T.S. Spivet, Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, Resident Evil. He also directed the short Flamenco 3D at 120FPS in native stereo using Arri Master Anamorphics. For the heist film Scratch he won the American Grindhouse Award for Best DOP in 2016. Demetri is keening interested in 3D, high frame rate, HDR and improvements to the digital image for a better audience experience. Demetri loves shooting and directing shorts or spots, he hopes to incorporate some of his 3D experience into some more exciting short concepts to demonstrate HFR/HDR material.
