About Alessandro

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, I have always loved movies. I would always reenact scenes and impersonate other actors. I was never certain what to do as a career however. When I saw The Social Network in theaters, it blew me away. Everything about that movie was correct in every way. I enrolled at Hofstra University the next year to make movies.

For my senior film class, I was required to write, direct, edit, and cast my own short film. It is called Off the Rails. It tells the story of a young boy with autism who befriends a young girl with Asperger's. Together, they learn to respect one another while trying to make sense of the world around them. The link of the film is here: . The password is offtherailsfilm.

It premiered at Hofstra's student film festival where it won second place. The lead actor in my film is Elias D'Onofrio, son of Vincent. Mr. D'Onofrio came to the festival and saw my film. He said I was a born storyteller and to never stop making movies.

I also love acting as well. I have extensive background in stage and with film. My ultimate dream is to make something amazing and memorable and to collaborate with other great artists. Can't wait to do that with you!
