The Scientist (2015)
Film (Drama, Drama, Mystery and Thriller) Director A young woman, Elsa, awakens in an old, abandoned building. She's bound to a metal chair, disoriented. Her fiance is not by her side. Lurking in the shadows across the room is a man, tall, imposing, but with a sly, icy charm. This is Dr. Jonathan Schaffer. Elsa learns that Schaffer has kidnapped her and her fiance to extract a chemical from their brains that he believes can be used to create a synthetic form of love, working on Elsa's fiance first. The experiment failed, but Schaffer is not quite done, and Elsa soon learns that things are not as they seem.
