Doug Nelson hmm, I'm still unfamiliar with this site. To answer your question, the invaders are looking for revenge. As I was working through the feature length part, I started to notice that this may be more of a love story. I have it as the invaders and the cop were all part of the military. There's romance, cheating and backstabbing.

quotes are unnecessary and antiquated. youre not quoting anyone, youre making it up yourself.

I've used:

SUPER: For titles and descriptions like "NEW YORK CITY, 1869"

INSERT: For somewhat of a close-up focus (you can also use CU:) like CU: Business Card or Family Photo, etc.

ON SCREEN: for a visual happening on a TV or computer screen or display, although could use INSERT: On Screen is a Facebook post, etc. etc.

I think using SUPER: NEW YOURK CITY. I think this is appropriate and lets us know where it's taking place. I agree with Danny that quotes are not necessary. As I could use a class on English as sometimes I don't know where commas, semi-colons(other than on the toilet) and misplace quotes go. Yes, David Trottiers Screenwriters Bible is a great accompaniment to any house library. Also, reading scripts from Simply Scripts will help. • I felt overwhelmed about halfway through the sentence. Heath is correct that it's too long. Focus on what makes your story unique and interesting. If it's still too long, your concept may need to be simplified. - The logine gives away the ending. - You list it as a comedy, but it sounds like a heavy drama. The logline itself doesn't need to be funny, but it should be easy to imagine a humorous film from it. Once you feel good about your logline, I would recommend submitting it to ScriptQuack for coverage. It's inexpensive and could be invaluable. I hope this helps. Best of luck to you.

Husband fakes being terminally pregnant in order to win a genetics grant...

To win a baby contest, a pregnant woman must divorce her reluctant husband who is faking a terminal illness.

The four in vitro baby's part sounds like raising Arizona in a way. How bout Pregnant woman hides the whole money contest thing, husband finds out ,she skips town maybe mexico, has her babys there ,now there mexican citizens, husband looks for her, finds her and BANG she whacks him in mexico,now she's wanted by the mexican cops, she can't cross the border because her kids are not u.s citizens so she finds away to skip mexico with her baby's , she has money but could she buy her freedom or find a way out.

Casting to get big-budget funding and make bug-budget box-office: Kiera Knightley or Dakota Fanning (even though she's only 18, she can do it and act rings around any competition!), Also, Gabourey Sidibe, who's actually 29 for about 6 more months, so better act fast, but is in the same league with Dakota. And, that's about it. The rest are no-talent hacks that get by in this business based on their looks or the fact that they used to work for Disney.
