Rebecca O'Donnell

I've been a professional artist since high school; sold my first portrait when I was fourteen. I stumbled into confectionery display art a few years ago when I created a 100 lb gingerbread house for a high end crystal and porcelain shop on Long Island. It got onto the local news and in Newsday. Since then, I've created work for Oheka Castle, the Alice Tully Estate, the Long Island Shakespeare Society and dozens of private collections. As for writing, I've contributed articles to various historical journals and Long Island newspapers. I've recently published a memoir entitled FREAK: The True Story of an Insecurity Addict, and my WWII screenplays, based on the true story of a Third Marine Division BAR man who fought on Bougainville, Guam and Iwo Jima, are currently being shopped by my entertainment lawyer. My project right now is researching the non-fiction book versions of the WWII screenplays.
