Hi, I’m Jackson ‘Sparrow’ Kang’ethe, an award-winning cinematographer based in Nairobi, Kenya. From a young age, I’ve been passionate about capturing authentic African stories through the lens of my camera. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working on a variety of film projects, from feature films to documentaries, and have been recognized for my work with several prestigious awards, including a Kalasha nomination and Best Cinematographer at the Nairobi 48-Hour Film Project.

My mission is to tell stories that reflect the diversity, beauty, and complexity of African life, creating visuals that inspire, challenge, and move audiences worldwide. Whether behind the camera or directing the photography on set, I bring a unique visual style and technical expertise to every project I work on.
