Rahim Bukhari

Aspiring Actor and Screenwriter. I'm 30 years old. I'm originally from India but now I live in Toronto, Canada. I am an MBA and was a corporate trainer and IELTS trainer back in India. This may sound very crazy I have no professional or academic experience in acting or screenwriting apart from a couple of school plays (three to be exact), a very amateur novella that I sent for a competition in New York (of course I didn't win) and a couple of unfinished stories for feature films (also very amateur) but I'm willing to learn and explore. I constantly self-educate myself on the industry through YouTube and social media. I've been on Stage32 since 2016 but I never considered acting as my career until I moved to Canada.
TBH I've always wanted to be an actor but it was more of a suppressed desire than an open ambition particularly because I was chicken for not standing up for what I wanted at the time but now I have a clearer mind about what exactly I want to do.
During the recent Coronavirus outbreak, I've been under self-isolation for 10 days now and I've been practicing and recording monologues; something to show for, for starters.
I love watching movies particularly those with Tom Hanks, RDJ, Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet. Other than movie-watching I love playing pool bowling and basketball and sometimes like to shoot off em arrows on a target.
