Greetings Everybody, My name is Dawn and I am a playwright, so I'm not sure I even belong here (lol) but I would never turn down an invitation, especially one that offers me the opportunity to be a part of a community such as Stage 32. It's taken me quite a long time to post this introduction because I'm an intensely private person and I'll tell you a short story to illustrate this- when my Mother was expecting me, she went to the doctor to get a sonogram and when the time came up for my Mother to find out the sex of her unborn child (me), the doctor, with some confusion said "Well, I can tell you this. He or she is going to be a very private person". Apparently, I'd had my legs closed the entire time, so the doctor could not tell what I was going to be. I am grateful for the invitation and I look forward to learning from and participating in this community. Also, thanks to RB and the Stage32 staff for creating a space for creative people like me who don't fit into the Facebook or LinkedIn mode.

So I am looking to find small networks to license tv series created, what is a good price to charge for new fresh content. Keep in mind its not to NBC or big networks but other platforms with high viewership. Im looking for a way to get the content created out there. Can anyone offer any advice?

Whats the best way to get product placement for low budget films or free merchandise for a project? Just curious of anyone can share their experiences. Thanks

Yes, I am a United Methodist minister. But I am also a writer. I have written poems, short stories, and write the religion column for the local newspaper. My partner and I have written 6 scripts; a Christian movie, 2 horror movies, a mystery, a science fiction and a comedy. Obviously I am very interested in the Christian Genre / faith based films, but I have other interests as well. My Christian Genre movie is about a story teller who "modernizes" Bible stories and has to fight his own inner demons. One horror movie involves a man who does something terrible and soon he and his family are tormented. The other is about a ghost who seeks revenge. The mystery movie is about a detective investigating a 200 year old crime. The science fiction is about alien invaders. And the comedy is a spoof on Zombie Apocalypse movies. a Christian movie production company that produces Christian movies that share Christ while covering serious real life issues for example in our completed film FOSTER HOME, we cover issues of abuse, rape, self harm, prostitution, and being left for dead. In an upcoming project we cover heroin/drug addiction, kidnapping, over protective parenting, neglect etc. Our movies bring something we all have seen in the news or in life, and has characters we can relate to for our self or people we know or have met.
