Hmm, a bio. In a way, screenwriting, and now producing, has taken me back to my roots. We left Hollywood when I was 10, but my dad was Gene Autry's partner, and song writer (Oakley Haldeman). The last thing I ever expected was to be a screenwriter, but I'm hooked, with over a dozen scripts, several options, a movie now (still!) in post (Lucky U Ranch), another in Pre Production (Bad Timing), scripts for hire (Santiago's Children and The Horse Lover). My art background (MFA in studio art) really means I'm a visual person, and film is visual. My strong suit is character, structure is often an issue, I don't follow the rules at times. I have a script that needs looking at NOW as it's close to Trainwreck, which seems to be the popular genre for women based comedies. I write drama, comedy and coming of age, be it 11 or 79! I live in Tucson, an hour's flight to L.A., work well with others, am pretty up beat. I'm a girl, what else to say?
