I have been writing stories since I was able to read, about three years old. When I was in second grade, my elementary school added a drama department and I became a stage actor. I was in various plays and choral productions over the next twenty years, including a production of “The Fantasticks” which was a mainstage show at the annual International Thespian Conference in Muncie, Indiana, in the early nineties. Eventually, a medical condition gave me a jaw spasm that was made worse when I got nervous. I was unable to enunciate clearly in front of an audience, and so ended my stage career. So, to satisfy my creative urges, I returned to writing and started cranking out screenplays. After writing over twenty of them and having some minor luck in competitions, I wrote my first novel. I have now completed a second and am working on a third. I would love my work to get some exposure, hence my presence on this forum. Let me know if you’d like to read anything I’ve written. I hope to publish my first book within the next year. Cheers!
