Valentin Fernandez-Tubau

Born in Barcelona, Spain, I’ve been working in film business for more than 25 years. I studied film and lived full-time in L.A. for 5 years, and part-time 10 years. I have been screewriter and script coodinator of TVE prime time series, and sold scripts to major Film Production Companies in Spain such as Sogetel/Sogecine,Canal+ Guiones, Morena Films, StarLine Productions, BocaBoca/Cristal Producciones, Euroficción, and more. As a script consultant I have over 30 feature films credits from prominent directors suchs as Julio Medem, Mario Camus, Pilar Miró, Manuel Sicila (Goya Award 2009). I have worked as a tutor or script consultant for major EU Community Media and Development Programs (Mediscript, Co-Pilot...), Ibermedia, CORFO (Government of Chile), CNCine (Government of Ecuador),... Currently consulting two series for Televisa to be shot in L.A. I have also designed Screenwriting Syllabus and provided consultancy to Universities and International Film Schools. I am CEO of Abcguionistas, a major Spanish speaking screenwriting community of over 100.000 registed members (producers, directors, writers...) bringing news and building bridges for screenwriters and producers accross different countries.
