Latina filmmaker with a heavy leaning toward editing, although I've got experience in every production aspect from treatments to shot lists to directing and beyond. I love putting together the puzzle that is film!
I discovered my passion for filmmaking while attending Amherst College. I took some production classes, as well as many film studies courses, culminating in a BA in English (long story short, I was told too late that I couldn't be one of their first Film and Media Studies majors). I then completed my technical film training with a BA in Film Production from CUNY Brooklyn College. Since then I've gone between freelance and permalance positions, learning what I can and honing my skills to a fine point.
Recently I co-founded the independent production company Sad Stan Productions. I'm currently trying to build up our network of collaborators, while also looking for work (either full-time or freelance).
Unique traits: Saint-like patience, good comedic timing, efficient budgeting, quick editing.
