My name is Madeline Ortiz a woman who faces the challenges of been raised in a median income family. I’m always working hard all my life and super grateful to living it full of a lot of happy moments and lots of disappointments. That's what make my life a real adventure. Many years ago I joined Stage 32 full of hopes and dreams, that was in 2012, after the turning point in my life, the self-revelation I had in December 2011 when I went to Los Angeles to take a two day workshop with Dov Simmens about filmmaking. I'm always a writer, all my life I dedicated my free time writing poems, shorts stories, short scripts and daydreaming because that’s the art I enjoyed it most. I decided the 2012 will be (and was) the year of learning the basics of screenwriting; and after taking that path I took classes with John Truby and Guillermo Arriaga. Later in 2013 took a Cine Guerrilla workshop in Puerto Rico and worked as an 1st Assistant Director for a short film Romeo y Romeo by Film maker Luis Caballero.
I’m glad about what my life turns ups and downs and always am grateful for it. After that I just work regular jobs to survive this crazy life.
Now in 2024 I'm challenging myself to retake what I love to do. Write.
The in between's in my current life are enjoying listen music under the spell of the full moon and beautiful sunsets (of course, with a glass of wine). I am a poet, all my friends personal counselor, a traveler and avid student of every interesting theme out there and until the end of my life a writer.
I consider myself a poet, an artist, a writer, producer and photographer…. because I am.
