Joey Lanai

I am a Film Maker/Writer/Actor with multiple screenplays in various stages of development. I'm looking to move my projects forward and lend my skills to others where my talents can be used. The hardest part is explaining what I (am/do) because I'm involved in multiple areas depending on the project. Story telling is my thing, but I'm not consumed with any one facet of storytelling. I sometimes have wished that I did just one thing very well rather than so pursuing so many things. In the Indie world, my best trait and often heard compliment is that I always finish my projects and I don't reschedule or procrastinate. I feel that if you develop a reputation for "pushing" back start dates or cancelling. you won't be taken very seriously. Coming from a stellar sales background in the medical device industry, my obsession is to shorten the sales cycle, complete the project and get everybody paid and climbing the ladder. One minute I'm the actor, the next the writer or director and often wonder which of these will ultimately dominate. I'm financially capable At an indie level and want to meet like minded folks, capable of contributing to a project and applying their creative talents as well. CURRENT OBJECTIVE: swing big for the fences and stop playing small ball.
