About Giovanna

I am a multimedia producer | director | writer who lives in the east coast, NJ, and who is also a big foodie (yes, I know that term is overused).

A good story takes work, commitment but above all humility. Think it was Hemingway who wrote, "“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.” These days it is in front of computer, and perhaps for some of us old-schoolers, chicken scratch writing on our wonderful notebook pages.

To tell a story, well, a good story, I cannot do it alone, nor would I want to. This is where my team comes in - the family we create throughout our years in this insane business that tests us every day but brings us a resounding level of joy that only the power of storytelling can do - it is about connecting to each other in the most simplest of ways - our humanity, from our neurotic struggles to our insanely quirky hangup that makes us either love it or hate it, but nonetheless connect viscerally.

And part of the fun of is in the passion of our creative community, from the writer (me too), to the actor to the editor - to every single person on set who works - collaborates to bring a concept to a tangible form.

It is about our community bringing a vision to reality and I truly love the work.

Feed the crew well. Treat everyone with respect. BE committed to the work. And be ready to take criticism for the love of the art - the story.
