Laura Abdulkareem

My name is Laura Jemima Abdulkareem. I discovered music at age seven(7) but started singing officially at the age of ten(10). I had my first live performance in Federal Government Secondary School, Ijanikin Lagos Nigeria in 2009 where I performed Whitney Houston , GREATEST LOVE and I was called back to repeat my performance in another event in the same school. That same December I had my first recording at a studio where I recorded my first self written song 'I BELIEVE'. A year later I started working with a music management company where I recorded three tracks all written and composed by me .The tracks are 'TELL ME', 'MY LIFE' and 'IF I NO SEE YOU'. During my one year with the company I had a life performance at the Industry Night, Oriental hotel Lagos state Nigeria.I also had a life performance at Abuja NICON NUGA HILTON Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria to celebrate 2011 Nigeria's Independence Day. I also shot my video for the Track (TELL ME) that year. The managent shut down 2012 and since then I went to high school to finish my secondary education. I have had ample time over the years to write so many beautiful songs of which I recorded one(1) 'WONDERLAND' but before that I free styled my songs 'I BELONG' in a studio when I was fifteen and wrote and recorded 'THAT BROAD IS FIRE' the same year.
Presently, being through with my secondary education, I am ready to take up my music career as a profession to the highest level.
