Natalie Polanco

Natalie Polanco is a Dominican-American writer, public speaker, and filmmaker. In early 2018, Natalie founded her first independent video production company, N. Polanco Productions. Her company aims to use the art of storytelling to provide advocacy and empowerment to those who are often misunderstood or underrepresented in today's media. Natalie's company has produced several indie projects with this important mission in mind, including: “LIBERTAD – A Short Film”, “PYRAMIDS – A Web Series”, and an unscripted YouTube talk show entitled, “Hey, We Need to Talk.” Natalie also routinely lends her voice by using performance poetry and motivational speaking to shine light on important issues in gender, diversity, politics, and popular culture. She has been invited to speak at several conferences and acclaimed stages such as The Nuyorican Poets’ Café, NYU’s Immigrant Heritage Month Hackathon, and The VenDIVA Women in Business Expo.
