About Raza

I’m a writer/filmmaker, whose work spans many genres and styles, from larger-than-life comedies to thought provoking psychological dramas. My interests lie primarily in telling gripping stories through unorthodox means - by getting into what makes each genre (and medium) unique.

My writing is concise and engrossing, whether I’m working with a character-driven, or plot-driven narrative. In directing, I adopt a highly collaborative approach, believing that everyone (both cast and crew) produces their best work when given a certain amount of freedom, so long as it serves our unified vision. I also have experience in various other film disciplines from operating cameras, and lights, to sound mixing, foley, and ADR, as well as a few stints as an editor.
