About Bret

California native, son and nephew of Disney animators who loves film and video. Edited an Emmy-nominated documentary, shot video from sailplanes and helicopters, brought James Stewart a glass of water, had Swarzenegger blow cigar smoke in my face and used sign language with Annie Lennox.

Been lucky to have worked on the restorations of Lon Chaney's The Phantom of the Opera, Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times, Buster Keaton's The General as well as early documentary Moana of the South Seas, which played theatrically this year as well as a slew of festivals.

Co-creator/editor of Secret Paris with Juliette Sobanet, a Youtube webseries about lesser-known sights in the City of Light.

Unique traits: Film Restoration Specialist. Shot on the Red Carpet at The Oscars, edited interviews with Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg and others.
