Dear Steven, I trained as an actor at Rose Bruford College and did a degree at the University of Kent. I worked as an actor for 10 years before switching to Directing. This led me into coaching and I worked in the USA for 15 years at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre and Sarah Lawrence College. In 2001 I returned to the UK and considered resuming my acting career but financially this was not viable. I continued to teach at City Lit (full time staff) up to September of last year when I retired. Since then I have made three short films, played'Mayor Brown' in the feature "The Last Superheroes" (stil in production), made two corporate videos and recorded some film sequences for a lunchtime play which played at the Bridewell. I still have to seek an agent, but wanted to have some work under my belt first.
