'Through the Door' is a short, psychological thriller shot in late 2011. After being on the back burner for a while, it'll finally premiere at the 2013 Garden State Film Festival in April. Shearl: "This started as a small personal project of my friend, Matt Zimel. He explained to me the concept in one of our rambling brainstorming sessions, and the story was so intriguing and mysterious. What started out only as producer help turned into me doing steadicam work, assistant directing, art direction, and a 31hr post production edit marathon. It was awesome."
