About Nicolas

It was in 2009 that Nicolas Dubut composed his first soundtrack for the film "Anrtefacts" by director Patrick O'blin. Shortly after, he began a long collaboration with director Rémi Hoffmann with the writing of the music for his film "Les Seigneurs d'Outre Monde" (official selection in several international Festivals in 2017), followed by several theater projects , advertisements, video games....

Nicolas has composed the soundtrack for several feature films, short films, documentaries and shows.

The film tells through dance the spiritual journey of dancer and choreographer Dana Mussa who returns to visit her homeland of Kazakhstan after an 8-year absence from work as a dancer in Paris. A journey through time and space, going back centuries to when women were the hunters, riders, amazons, shamans, priestesses, queens and goddesses. Filmed in incredibly beautiful locations, Mussa's strong, authentic movements are both dramatic and poetic.
