Hello, and thank you for checking this out. In this tutorial I go through sections of this trailer, and discuss my approach and how I layer sounds & music to achieve a proper way to marry sound to film.
Hello, this is a short sound design/music video test of a tutorial I created while working on a music library for "Crime TV" Currently, I just have text as my explanation of what I am doing, but will eventually use VO. FREE SFX: https://darkhorsemedia.bandcamp.com/ My custom created SFX including Hard Effects, Exterior Backgrounds, Horror Backgrounds, and Car related Foley.
Welcome creators! In this tutorial, I discuss adding layers, manipulating audio, and applying effects. Are you a beginner? Worry not! I will be creating multi-experience tutorials starting from a blank slate.
A little fun with some 1920s/30s era music, and this antique radio I have. I used a lot of this music on a Supernatural/True Crime documentary called Death Is With Me.
This is a weekly hour long show that I edit dialogue for, 5 episodes per week. Work includes dialogue editing & sweetening.
Layering in some lower register synth to fill out this frequency spectrum of music. I am using Native Instruments Ashlight, and modified the sound to my liking. Currently I am doing the sound design, and score for this feature true crime/supernatural documentary.
Working with this amazing plugin called Groth for this feature film and bending some frequencies to give it a more dramatic contrast with the cello. Underneath this, I also layered in some drones from a guitar string resonator called Sound Stone I recorded with a contact mic on the body of my electric guitar.
Promo related sound design work I've done so far this year.
Playing in the abstract opens many doors for creativity. This is for a film I am currently engaged with titled Death Is With Me, which is a true crime/supernatural feature.
