Thomas G Fiffer

Thomas G. Fiffer is co-founder of Christmas Lake Creative, an inspired community of writers offering instruction, creative collaboration, editing, and publishing services. He formerly served as Senior Editor, Ethics, and prior to that, Executive Editor, at The Good Men Project. He holds a B.A. in English with honors from Yale University and an M.A. in English (Creative Writing) from The University of Illinois at Chicago, where he taught composition and English Literature. His authored articles for The Good Men Project have topped 5 million page views (over 15 million including pieces he’s edited), and he is a frequent contributor to Weston Magazine Group. His popular blog, Tom Aplomb, offers readers more than 1,000 short, inspirational essays, written over six years on his daily morning commute from Westport to Manhattan, while he worked as an executive at a business information publishing company.

Tom is also a professional book editor and ghostwriter, and the author of two books, Why It Can’t Work: Detaching From Dysfunctional Relationships to Make Room for True Love, and What Is Love? A Guide for the Perplexed to Matters of the Heart. He is the father of two sons and is working on both a memoir and his first novel.
